Academic and Career Goals

The next four years of high school could potentially determine how the rest of my life turns out. I currently take Honors English, Geometry, and Spanish 3. I believe these classes will pay off in the future when I graduate from high school. Though they are more challenging courses, they offer a great deal in return. The classes will offer more opportunities for me in college.
Sports also play an important role in my academic career. Being involved in volleyball and softball help me immensely with my studies. Having practices, games and tournaments, means I have less time for homework and studying. This requires me to get my homework done as soon as possible, and not procrastinate.

As for college, I would like to go to school to become a marine biologist. I have excelled in science classes all throughout my schooling years. I love marine mammals and want to help those who are injured. I have a kind and gentle way about me that could aid many marine mammals across the nation. I am considering attending the University of California, Los Angeles, University of Arizona or University of Florida. Having a high paid job and flexible hours are important for me to have in a career. I want to make money to provide for my family, and have flexible hours so I can spend time with them. Although these goals are not set in stone, they are aspirations I hope to achieve someday. I believe if I work hard to succeed, my future will look bright!
